Live animal mascots: We love them because we fear them. But as Fox Sports Net's Jim Knox found out Saturday during his pre-game run with (or at least near) Ralphie before Colorado's upset over Georgia, sometimes you've got to keep your head on a swivel for the humans, too. Keep your eye on the guy in the coat and tie:
Amazingly, that wasn't the most painful moment of Knox's sideline career, or the most embarrassing. In fact, it probably doesn't even rank in the top three. Hey, they can't all look like Erin Andrews out there. Some of us have to hustle in this world, and occasionally get hip-checked by a buffalo trainer. All in a day's work.
