Their protests, sit-ins, campaigns and cries have all failed to get awful owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett out of their club, so Liverpool fans have created a simple and direct video message begging the two men to just sell the team and leave already. Assembled by Mike Jefferies, writer/producer of the Goal! trilogy, "Dear Mr. Hicks" features famous and non-famous Liverpool fans with their message to the club's owners. (Hint: the message isn't a friendly one.)
Some call the pair rapists, others call them soulless and others accuse them of giving Americans a bad name. The emotion is palpable and genuine, but human feelings are apparently foreign to Hicks and Gillett, so this probably won't accomplish anything.
